Infant Swimming Classes

Infant swimming is a part of the modern life style. Swimming together with parents deepens the family relationships and promotes feelings of love and intimacy. Swimming is great not only for hygiene, but for motor skills as well . Swimming and bathing give a sense of happiness, self-confidence, and a chance to relax. Mainly it helps infants to feel safe in the water. In today’s world it is a way of self-fulfillment and a way to a healthy life style. Infant swimming gives the child a feeling of happiness in the water. The water forces him upwards and lets him do natural moves according to his mood. The child will gain respect for the water, while enjoying it at the same time.

Advantages of swimming for pregnant women

Swimming is one of the best forms of exercise in general. The main advantage is that your body is not as stressed as it is in the gym.

Swimming develops many muscles on both arms and legs. It positively influences your cardiovascular system. Last, but not least, it helps to get rid of weight gained in pregnancy, and it unbinds the spine.

Swimming increases the ability to inhale and process oxygen; it improves blood circulation, develops muscles and improves your endurance.

Swimming during first, second, third trimester

At the beginning of the pregnancy, your goal should be to swim for at least 20 minutes every other day. If you suffer from morning sickness, swimming can sometimes help. It is free to try, and it might be very positively.

During the second trimester you don’t have to reduce the time spent swimming, because it is still very gentle.

During the third trimester you will mostly appreciate that you are being pushed up by the water, and your joints can rest. If it is summer, you will appreciate the cooling from the water as well.

The best swim style for the last part of the pregnancy is the breast stroke, which develops pectoral and back muscles that bear the most weight during pregnancy


Aqua Fitness

Aqua fitness came from the USA about 15 years ago. Originally this kind of exercise, with special upward forcing band, was used for top athletes to recover after injuries. Later it started an era of so-called impact-free exercise, which means exercise without shock to your joints, bones or spine.

Nowadays aqua fitness (aqua aerobic) is divided into many categories such as aqua strength, aqua jogging, aqua kicboxing, aqua step aerobics, aqua dance, etc., according to what tools you use.

Aqua fitness can be performed in three water levels: shallow, middle, and deep water. During our lessons we exercise in the middle water level. The water reaches from waist to shoulders. It is the most common level of water used for full usage of all the tools implemented.

  • the water has a massaging effect on the body while exercising
  • appropriate water temperature (26-30°C) prevents overheating

Senior Swimming

For seniors swimming is a favorite activity, because it equally works and stretches the body while at the same time it sparing the spine, joints and ligaments.

Advantages of swimming for seniors include:
